Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about other, more skillful gamblers taking their mulla.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick decisions.
It is also simpler to play for a very long time with only a little bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the croupier gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
