Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, not like most other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to fret about other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their mulla.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the house is given seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
