Poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No more bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers attain five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a sum in accordance with the original wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays money equal to your bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
